See where great beginnings start at Great Beginnings Halls Head. Our state of the art, purpose-built child care and early education centre is ideally located for families commuting through Halls Head, Erskine, Wannanup, and Coodanup. Our centre is conveniently located directly across from Halls Head shopping centre.
As you open the door to our homely centre, you will be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to explore and learn and grow daily at our centre. The little ones enjoy playing in our nature-based outdoor environments which feature a large yard, slides, vegetable gardens, sandpits and other exciting play equipment.
Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.
Our indoor areas encourage adventure with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a variety of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals.
Healthy, freshly made meals and snacks are created daily by our in-house cook. Well-balanced in nutrients and appealing menus are designed for the children to enjoy daily so there is no need for parents to prepare lunches and snacks giving you more family time each morning.
The older age groups in our centre enjoy their meal times within our large centre dining room which also has an alfresco area. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.
As part of the children’s learning experiences, children and educators also love to venture out into our local Halls Heads community with excursions to the shopping centre, Bunnings, Mercy Care aged care facilities and the local library to promote active participation in the broader community.
Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments. We also invite special guests and community members to the centre based on the children's specific interests for example the local dentist.
We strive to ensure that all families feel part of our centre and encourage our families to stay and play where possible.
