Great Beginnings Aveley

See where great beginnings start at Great Beginnings Aveley. Our boutique childcare and early learning centre is ideally located for families living or commuting through Aveley, Brabham, Ellenbrook and The Vines. We’re conveniently located right next to IGA Aveley Vale and just down the road from Swan Valley Anglican School.

Step into our Aveley child care centre and you will be wrapped up in a world where children are encouraged to explore, learn and grow. Your little one will enjoy discovering our spacious outdoor areas which include a sandpit, slide, swings and vegetable gardens to engage all the senses.

Our large outdoor areas have natural sections for the children to play in and we have separate outdoor areas for different age groups. Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence.

Our centre has six spacious room, all having their own outdoor play spaces resulting in continuous indoor/ outdoor provisions where our children chose freely where and what to explore. They also enjoy mealtimes and sleep time outdoors when the weather permits.

Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.

The centre kitchen is at the heart of everything we do. There is no need to bring packed lunches, healthy meals and snacks are created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements.

We offer a schedule of rotating specialised programs including music and movement, sports, yoga, and mobile library programs which are rotated according to the interests of the children.

Children and educators love to venture out into our local Aveley community to nearby aged care facilities. We also have aboriginal school connections encouraging children to be culturally aware. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.

A sustainability philosophy is embedded at our centre teaching children to care for the environment. Our children love nature, whether it being planting seeds and watching them grow, tending to our veggie patch or collecting eggs from our chicken. The children also maintain and care for our indoor plants using the water from our rainwater tank to water the plants. In each of the rooms we use natural, wooden and recycled materials.

Our school holiday care programs have a variety of activities with a focus on fun and learning. Your child will have endless amounts of fun with a mix of in-centre activities, indoor and outdoor play, and visits to the community.

As members of our Great Beginnings community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
