See where great beginnings start at Great Beginnings Bayswater. Our child care and early learning centre is ideally located for families living or commuting through Bayswater, Bassendean, Embleton and Maylands. We are in close proximity of the CBD, public transport and the beautiful bushland which we frequently visit with our various age groups.
As you walk into our centre, you will be immersed in a world where children are inspired to explore, learn and develop. Your child will love discovering our large outdoor areas which include a sandpit, slide and swings. The outdoors supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.
We are enthusiastic about nutritious, fresh food. Children learn about sustainability practices in our vegetable garden while harvesting food, weeding, watering, and nurturing the environment teaching them to care for the environment. We grow edible plants in our vegetable garden, and these are used in the cooking at our centre where our cook uses the produce to provide many healthy meals.
Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.
There is no need to pack lunches, nutritious meals and snacks are created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements and based upon the Nutritional requirements of Australia. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.
No two days are the same at our Bayswater childcare centre. A rotating schedule of engaging specialised programs including music and movement, yoga, dance and sports to build a strong foundation in learning and skill development.
We welcome special guests and members of the community including nurses to the centre to extend on the children’s learning. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.
