See where great beginnings start at Great Beginnings Brookfield. Our child care and early education centre in Brookfield is ideally located for families commuting through Melton South, Melton West, Hopetoun Park, Exford, Kurunjang and Atherstone. We’re located just over 1km away from the Melton Train Station and a short drive from Woodgrove Shopping Centre.
From the moment you step into our Brookfield child care centre, you’ll be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to learn and explore. Children love to explore and play in our spacious outdoor areas which features a large yard and play equipment where children can engage all the senses. Our Brookfield child care centre is also home to three very loved guinea pigs named Melrose, Brooke and Eddie. The children take pride in caring for our loved pets.
Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.
Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces.
You will never need to worry about packing lunches or snacks. We provide nutritious meals created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.
Your child will have access to a rotating schedule of engaging specialised programs, including a sport, yoga and movement program which is included in the fees. We also provide optional swimming lessons for 3-5-year-old children which is an additional fee. These fun and engaging programs enhance the daily program.
We welcome special guests and community members to the centre based on the children's interests. These include visits around responsible pet ownership, visits from local police, ambulance and fire fighters. Maternal health visits occur throughout the year for three to five-year-old children. Yearly photos are organised for the children to share lasting memories here at Great Beginnings Brookfield.
Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.
As members of our Great Beginnings community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
