Being outside supports the children’s overall health and wellbeing. Our unique setting provides a home like feel for all children enrolled, because we have limited spaces available our children and educators become a close-knit community within the centre.

Our indoor spaces encourage adventure with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a variety of materials in purposeful play spaces. We have a dedicated art studio where we host art classes, group activities, one on one learning and textured experiences.

Our dedicated studio space invites innovative ways of working with unique materials. Project work enables children to visit and work in the studio space over time with peers, educators, and specialists. Project-based learning promotes the integration of learning areas and skill sets as children problem-solve, think critically, and collaborate with others to design, create and evaluate their ideas.

No two days are the same at our Applecross child care centre. Your child will have access to a revolving schedule of specialised programs including sports and French language. Music and movement are also available at an additional cost.

Our centre kitchen is where the magic happens. Healthy meals and snacks are provided daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Our children have access to a café style dining area further creating an atmosphere of a calm home like setting for children to enjoy meals and engage with their peers.

Children and educators love to venture out into our local community to nearby schools, aged care facilities, shops and businesses to promote connection with nature and active participation in the broader community.
