At Great Beginnings Epsom we run many programs that enable the children to learn life skills from an early age, the centre cook involves the children weekly in the cooking process with having a vegetable garden at the centre, children are able to watch the garden grow, pick the vegetables and then taste the items in the food. What an amazing experience this is.
As soon as you step into our Epsom child care centre, you’ll be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to explore and learn. Our spacious outdoor areas which features sandpits, water play area and play equipment to engage all the senses. Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.
There is no need to worry about preparing lunch or snacks. Nutritious meals and snacks are created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.
No two days are the same at our child care centre. Your child will have access to a schedule of engaging specialised programs including yoga, sport, bush kinder and a music and movement program. These fun and engaging programs enhance the daily program.
