Great Beginnings Hammond Park
Spacious areas for children to explore
As you open the door to our child care centre, you will be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to explore and learn. Children are encouraged to discover, learn and grow as they explore and play in our spacious outdoor area which feature a vegetable garden, slide and other exciting equipment to engage all the senses. Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence.
Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and experiment as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.
Healthy meals freshly prepared in-house
Nutritious meals created daily by our in-house chef who caters to all dietary requirements. No need to pack your child lunch and snacks in the morning, giving you more time each morning with your family. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.
High-quality early learning programs
Your child will have access to a schedule of specialised programs including yoga, dance, and sport to further develop fundamental skills. Sustainability philosophy is embedded at our centre teaching children to care for the environment. As part of our sustainability program, our centre has 'adopted a spot' at a local park regularly taking our preschool aged children to remove rubbish from this area (using gloves and tongs).
