Our centre is proud to have received Exceeding the National Quality Standard. The National Quality Standard encompasses the seven key quality areas that are important outcomes for children’s learning and development.
As you walk into our centre you’ll be wrapped up in a world where children are inspired to explore, learn and develop. Our natural outdoor areas feature a large yard, sandpit, vegetable garden and other exciting play equipment to engage all the senses.
Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Families are always welcome to share their ideas and be involved with activities at the centre and their child’s learning.
Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.
Our centre kitchen is where the magic happens. Nutritious meals and snacks created daily by our in-house cook. Nutrient-rich, delicious menus are designed for the children to enjoy daily so there is no need for parents to prepare lunches and snacks. We also provide a take away breakfast for.
We offer engaging specialised programs including music and movement, yoga and soccer which are rotated regularly according to the children’s interests.
We have a garden which is available to all members of our community. Sustainability program teaches children a sense of responsibility and connection to their world. The program develops the children’s understanding of the importance of caring for our environment by using repurposed items in our outdoor environments, including pot plants created from pipes and a musical instrument created from saucepans.
Children and educators also love to venture out into our local community with excursions to the nearby aged care facilities, pet shop, dentist and hairdressers. We welcome special guests and community members to the centre including Heath Empower based on the children's interest.
Our centre also offers a vacation care program for children aged 5-12 years old from Maddington primary school and Thornlie Primary school. Our vacation care programs has a variety of activities with a focus on fun and learning. Your child will have endless amounts of fun with a mix of in-centre activities, indoor and outdoor play and visits to the community.
