Great Beginnings Keysborough
Spacious areas designed to inspire
From the moment you step into our child care centre, you’ll be wrapped up in a world where children are encouraged to explore, learn and grow. Your little one will enjoy discovering our outdoor play spaces which include a water play area, sandpits, vegetable gardens and more.
Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.
Our dedicated studio space invites innovative ways of working with unique materials. Project work enables children to visit and work in the studio space over time with peers, educators, and specialists. Project-based learning promotes the integration of learning areas and skill sets as children problem-solve, think critically, and collaborate with others to design, create and evaluate their ideas.
Healthy meals freshly prepared in-house
You don't need to worry about packing lunch for your child. Healthy meals and snacks are created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements so there is no need to pack lunches giving you more family time each morning. Educators and children enjoy shared mealtimes which strengthen relationships, as they can share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.
High-quality early learning programs
No two days are the same at our Keysborough child care centre. We offer engaging specialised programs including yoga, music, sports and Spanish classes which are rotated according to the interests of the children. Our service operates in a diverse cultural suburb and to support this we have highly trained team members who speak many different languages. We provide an open-door policy where we encourage families to be present in the service.
Our child care centre proudly offers a kindergarten program delivered by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher to ensure your children are supported for their transition to school every step of the way. With a focus on language, literacy, numeracy, social skills and more, our kindergarten program will help your children become school ready.
Our sustainability program and vegetable gardens teach children a sense of responsibility and connection to the world around them while harvesting food, weeding, watering, and nurturing the environment.
