Jessica Manning
Centre Manager - Great Beginnings Marsden Park
“I have always been passionate about children’s learning and providing them with opportunities for growth and development.”
I began my career in early childhood education and care in 2009 with G8 Education and started working at Great Beginnings Marsden Park in 2017. I hold my Diploma of Early Education. I have experience as an educator, lead educator, community manager and centre manager.
I became an Early childhood educator as I have always been passionate about children's learning and providing them with opportunities for growth and development. I believe that providing children with a learning environment that fosters their imagination, creativity, and confidence allows children to build a strong sense of belonging. I am an experienced and dedicated leader who works to inspire educators and raise confidence and passion in their everyday practice.
Children develop their curiosity, problem-solving, confidence and resilience at our Marsden Park centre, and we carefully plan play-based learning experiences around their interests and learning goals. Over time, you will see your child develop abilities such as language, motor movement, memory, concentration and social relationships all by partaking in these experiences - it's a truly incredible journey to witness!
Our team is built on the mutual respect and appreciation of all individuals at our Marsden Park centre. We believe in incorporating the community and providing a safe and inclusive environment. We value the healing journey of both the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders towards a reconciled future. Our centre takes pride in our diverse, experienced educators that embed their culture into our daily practices and learning programs.
To get to know potential families, we use the tours as an opportunity and then build on this with orientations and regular communications through emails and newsletters. Our friendly staff get to know all families and cater for their needs on an individual level.
We regularly hold celebrations within the centre from multiple cultures of our community. We share these experiences with families to show respect and continue to build on our relationships.
To support families that are interested in enrolling at our Marsden Park centre, we conduct personalised tours with the aim of getting to know your family. We will focus on what is important to you and can share our knowledge with you. We are very knowledgeable of the Child Care Subsidy and will support families through the entire enrolment process.
We look forward to welcoming your family to our Marsden Park centre and being a part of your children's early years learning journey.
