Our long day care and early learning centre provides child care in Pakenham in a modern setting that is perfect for families living or commuting through Pakenham and nearby suburbs Beaconsfield and Officer. We are open from 6:30am to 6:30pm for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
Our Pakenham child care centre has received an “Exceeding” rating in all seven quality areas from the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority in our most recent assessment, making it one of Australia’s top eight per cent of early learning services.
Spacious areas for children to explore
From the moment you step into our Pakenham child care centre, you’ll be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to explore and learn. Our adventure-filled play grounds feature large yards including a cubby house, sandpits, vegetable garden, and play equipment that provide open ended engagement for all the senses. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.
Healthy meals freshly prepared in-house
There’s no need to worry about preparing lunch or snacks. Nutritious meals and snacks are created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. We cannot forget our parents on the way out to start their day, so they always have fresh treats as well as a coffee station in our foyer.
Every room is provided with fresh fruit daily and seasonal fruit is always in the front foyer for children to take on their way out also to hold off hungry bellies before dinner. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.
High-quality early learning programs
No two days are the same at our child care centre. Your child will have access to a rotating schedule of engaging specialised programs including music and movement, Auslan language and Bush Kinder.
We welcome special guests from the local Pakenham community to the centre based on the children’s interests. Visits from the Pakenham community include local police, fire brigade, responsible pet ownership and more. Community connections support a sense of belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.
As members of our Great Beginnings community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
