Centre Manager - Great Beginnings Pakenham
“I am passionate about creating a safe and educating space for children and watching them grow each day.”
I began my early childhood education and care career in 2016 at Great Beginnings Pakenham.
I hold a Diploma in early childhood education. Throughout my time in early childhood education, I have had many roles, starting from assistant educator and then working my way up to lead educator, educational leader, 31C, assistant centre manager and now centre manager.
I am passionate about creating a safe and educating space for children and watching them grow each day. I love watching educators grow daily to provide quality care, finding their passion and being able to support them in this.
I knew I wanted to pursue a career in early childhood education since I was in high school. I have always loved watching children grow, learn, and develop throughout the years. Since I started in early childhood, I knew I had chosen the right career for me, and every day has been so rewarding.
The team at Great Beginnings Pakenham go above and beyond for each family member. Each team member always puts the children’s needs first, embracing their individuality and providing quality care for all. We value safety and always ensure we follow practices that align with quality care and support our environments, families, educators, children, and communities.
We thrive on daily communication with our families. We feel that open communication is important and constantly seek feedback from our families. Throughout the year, as a centre, we host many special events that allow us to build those special bonds with our families in our Great Beginnings Pakenham community.
