Spacious areas designed to inspire
Great Beginnings Speers Point is a beautiful, modern child care centre with six rooms and one large natural shared play space outdoors. As soon as you step into our Speers Point child care centre, you’ll be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to explore and learn. Children love to explore and play in our modern outdoor areas which features a large yard, sandpits and water play area to engage all the senses. Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.
Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals.
Healthy meals freshly prepared in-house
You don't need to worry about packing lunches or snacks. Healthy, freshly made meals and snacks are created daily by our in-house chef, catering for all dietary requirements. Our chef loves to spend time cooking with the children both in the classrooms and in the kitchen. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices. Let us treat you to coffee and a snack as part of your morning routine.
Community-focused learning
Educators and children explore our local community with excursions to nearby parks and library. We also welcome special guests and community members to the centre based on the children's interests. These visits include a monthly arts program where they create spaces for children to participate in cultural experiences, such as basket weaving. Other visits include responsible pet ownership, emergency services, dental hygiene, science exploration, mindfulness, dance and movement.
As members of our Great Beginnings community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
