See where great beginnings start at Great Beginnings Berwick. Our long day care and early learning centre provides child care in Berwick for families living or commuting through Berwick and nearby suburbs Clyde North and Cranbourne North. We are directly across the road from St. Catherine's Primary School and St. Xavier Francis High School.
From the moment you step into our Berwick child care centre, you’ll be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to explore and learn. Our adventure-filled playgrounds feature large yards including a cubby house, sandpits, vegetable garden and play equipment to engage all the senses.
Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.
Our indoor areas invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals.
Extending upon experiences at school and home, our Vacation Care program provides school-aged children with a positive social environment designed for play, leisure and learning.
There’s no need to worry about preparing lunch or snacks. We provide nutritious meals created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements including halal and vegetarian options. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.
No two days are the same at our Berwick child care centre. Engaging specialised programs are offered for different age groups including Auslan language, yoga and a music and movement program. These fun and engaging programs enhance the daily program.
We welcome special community guests to the centre based on the children’s interests to extend on the children’s learning. Community connections support a sense of belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.
As members of our Great Beginnings community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
