See where great beginnings start at Great Beginnings Notting Hill. Our early education and child care centre in Notting Hill is ideally located for families commuting by Monash University and Technology precincts. It is easily accessible for families in Notting Hill, Clayton, Clayton North, Glen Waverley, Mulgrave, Mount Waverley and Oakleigh.
From the moment you step into our Notting Hill child care centre, you’ll be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to explore and learn. Our adventure-filled playgrounds feature a large yard, sandpits, vegetable gardens and water play area to engage all the senses.
Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.
Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.
No need to worry about packing lunches or snacks. We provide nutritious meals created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.
Your child will have access to a rotating schedule of engaging specialised programs, including music and movement, story-time, language classes and yoga which are all included in the daily fee. These fun and engaging programs enhance the daily program.
Children and educators explore our local community by visiting our local park during excursions, it gives them a chance to see the community and have fun on the play equipment. We also venture out to the nearby Monash University to play in the fields. We take our sports equipment and enjoy the big fields. Whilst we are out and about on our adventures within the community, we also have a special picnic where we enjoy the outdoors.
Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.
As members of our Great Beginnings community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
